He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Ellis and Eva Doster Ellis; his former wife Joyce Ellis; and his brothers, William Ellis and Buddy Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellis of Gleason; his daughters, Sonja Eliand (Doug) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Lori Robertson (Keith) of McKenzie, Two; his stepdaughters, Tonya Miles (Jeff) of Troy and Tammy Collins (Stacy) of Gleason; his grandchildren, Allie Eiland (Lindsay), Lesley Davidson (Jonathan), Jillian Curtis (Andre), Luke Robertson (Katelyn) and Clint Eiland (Kelly); his stepgrandchildren, Mallary Beutler (Sam), Jacob Hodges (Lindsey), Rebecca Hodges, Kaitlyn Henderson (Zeke) and Keaton Collins (Emily); his great grandchildren, Cooper, Callie, Ridley, Thomas and Patrick Ace; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Esme, Wilson, Ruth Collins and Millie.
