He was predeceased by: his parents, Statler Young and Mary Cupples Young; his daughter Tracy Grantham; and his siblings, Howard A. Young, Carey Young, Harold Young, Mary Helen Wiggins, Faye Hezeau, Martha Knight and Beatrice Young.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Finch Young; his son Michael Young (Diana) of Silerton, TN; his stepdaughter Sparkie Avent of Henderson; his adoptive son Billy Ervin; and his sisters, Margaret Crawford of Bolivar, Sue Thearp of Bolivar and Lois Hyman of Pickwick, TN.. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
