She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerry Rutledge and Eleanor Rutledge; her son A. J.; and her brother David. She is survived by : her husband Ricky Lee Boren; her daughters, Abigail (Steve) and Ellie; her granddaughter Charlotte; her sister Dawn Clendening (Mike); and her nieces and nephews, Alex (Alyssa), Delany (Will) and Andrea.

As a remembrance, donations may be made in her honor to Planned Parenthood or the Jackson Animal Care Center.
