She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Thomas and Verline Brooks (Hill); her husband Lewis Yarbrough; her daughter Carolyn Williams; and her siblings, Evelyn McCullar, Arthur Brooks, Paul Brooks, Sam Brooks and C. T. Brooks.
She is survived by : her daughter Peggy Abell (Jim) of Jackson; her sister Louise Roberts of Dyersburg; her grandchildren, Kim Kirkpatrick (Steve) of Livermoore and Tony Abell (Allison) of Lombard, Illinois; and her great grandchildren, Kevin Abell, Logan Abell, Madison Kirkpatrick, Kaitlin Kirkpatrick and Stephanie Kirkpatrick.
