It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Newman (Jackson, Tennessee), born in Oxly, Missouri, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Charles McLemore and Shelly Rose Hawks McLemore; her husband Woodrow Newman; and her siblings, Verble Graves, Blondel Darby, Jewel Graves, Weldon McLemore, Violet Pope and Louise Replogle.
She is survived by: her children, Woodrow W. Newman, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN and Debbie Newman Currie (Dean) of Jackson, TN; her granddaughters, Kristen Currie Hunt (Jeremy), Katie Currie and Destiny Newman; and her great grandchildren, Kloie, Draven Ferrary, Hayes, Hudson and Ellie Tate Hunt.
