He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Stone and Janet Cooper Stone. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jamison Stone of Jackson; his stepdaughter Amanda Holst; his stepgrandsons, Jack and Mason; his niece Stacey Stone; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Jamison, Michael Jamison (Shannon) and Suzanne Jamison.

The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the Alice and Carl Kirkland Cancer Center, 720 W. Forest Avenue.
