He is survived by: his wife Lorena Mae Kirkland Mayfield; his children, Gary Mayfield (Gayla) and Cheryl Gurley (Tony); and his siblings, Robert Eugene Mayfield (Margaret Sue) and Linda Sue Scott (Jerry). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
