Though Jack may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jack touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eagleton and Lila Davis; his brothers, Buddy Davis and Tim Davis; and his nephew Eric Davis.
He is survived by: his son Jack Ray Davis Jr. (Sonny) of Jackson, TN; his grandsons, Andrew Davis of Little Rock, AR and Jack Ray Davis, III (Trey) of Apopka, FL; his siblings, Donna Hayes of Parsons, TN, Penny Vise of Decaturville, TN and Mark Davis of Parsons, TN; and his wife Carole Sue Kerley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
