He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Turner and Lena Turner; and his son Scott Turner. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Turner; and his children, Thomas Turner (Dana), Jim Simpson (Mary Elizabeth), Leta Webb (Kirby), Amy Mistric (Buddy), Lori Jones and Lisa DeSpain. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be directed to First Baptist Church, Jackson, 1627 North Highland Ave. Jackson, TN. 38301.
