He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Dennison and Feda Jennings Dennison; his wife Margaret Lindsey Dennison; and his siblings, Charles Curtis Dennison, Jack Dennison, Floyd Dennison, Narcie Alderson and Betty Bryan.

He is survived by: his children, Jim (Melissa) and Susan Dennison Gilbert (John) of Jackson, TN; his grandchildren, Lindsey Dennison DeShazo (Wes) of Chattanooga, TN and Bryan Dennison (Megan) of Jackson, TN; his great grandchildren, Crew Dennison, James and Jackson DeShazo; and his sister Patricia Chamberlain of Milan, TN..

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to Woodland Baptist Church, 365 Wallace Road, Jackson, TN 38305.
