He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Olds and Erma Olds (Erwin); and his brothers, Jerry Dean Olds, Larry Olds, Ronnie Olds and Bill Olds.
He is survived by: his children, Brandy Willis (John) of Bradford, TN, Johnathan Milton Olds (Jennifer) of Halls, TN and Jamie Olds of Halls, TN; his siblings, Judy Blew of Newbern, TN, Pansy Nolen of Halls, TN and Mike Olds of Buchanan, TN.; his grandchildren, Johnathon Cody Olds and Kelsey Ballard; and his great grandchild Luella Olds. He is also survived by family, James' two dogs were his constant companions.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Halls Funeral Home (109 N Church St, Halls, TN 38040). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
