As Jane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel B. Wilkes and Hester Hampton Wilkes; her husband James Cole; her daughter Jennifer Melton; and her brothers, Darrell Wilkes and Larry Dale Wilkes.
She is survived by: her brother Hershel Wilkes of Huntingdon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
