He is survived by: his wife Carlise Helm Griggs; his children, Kenny Griggs (Cyndie) of Jackson, TN and Lynn Griffis (Phil) of Jackson, TN; his grandchildren, Tricia Burton (Cuthbert), P. J. Griffis, Jessica Griggs Holder (Brian) and Jacob Griggs (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Ryker Burton and Madie Holder; his sister Judy Barnhill (Bruce); his niece Debra Barnhill Lindkvist; Nikkole Lindkvist.
