Jimmy E. Chumney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy E. Chumney (Jackson, Tennessee), born in Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coy and Vivian Volner Chumney; and his wife Bettye Pruitt Chumney. He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Eugene Chumney of Senatobia, MS, James Edward "Eddie" Chumney (Diana) of Jackson, TN and Luke "Butch" Alva Wadley III (Donna) of Henderson, TN. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends at Arrington Funeral Directors on Monday, May 15, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until the service at 1:00 p.m.
