He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Carroll and Nannie Brown Carroll; and his brother-in-law Jonathan Shell. He is survived by : his wife Eula Gregory Carroll; his children, Joe Carroll (Bleasha) of Lexington, NC, Charlie Carroll (Donna) of Jackson, TN, Ira Carroll (Lisa) of Jackson, TN, Doris Crews (Leroy) of Jackson, TN and Janis Carroll Shell of Jackson, TN; and his grandchildren, Ashley Barr (Aaron), Adam Carroll (Rachel), Eric Carroll (Ashley), Stephen Carroll and Tony Carroll (Leah). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren: a host of nieces and nephews.
