He is survived by: his children, Dana Townsend, Patricia Watlington (David), Joel Benson (Kris), Michael Benson (Jackie) and Kevin Benson; and his grandchildren, Jamie Townsend, Madison Townsend, Alex Townsend-Jaimes (Gabriel), Brianna Johns (Philip), John Benson, Angelina Benson, Tristan Lowery (Payton), Gabrielle Lowery, Nolan Lowery and Bella Watlington.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (3360 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305).
