He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Watt Spencer and Wilma Schultz Spencer of Spring Creek; and his half-brother Lawson Watt Spencer, Jr. of El Paso, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Polly Spencer; his children, Laura Beth Brooks (Richard), Melissa Davis (Randy) and John Spencer II (Niki); his grandchildren, Spencer Brooks (Kenzie), Lindsay, Camryn Spencer (Shane) and Kenly Davis; and his great grandchildren, Luca Brooks, Sunny Jo Brooks, Warren Brooks, Ella and Lennon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
