He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Danice Mason; his stepchildren, Dr. John Douglas Haltom, Jr. (Beth) of Jackson and Mary Beth White (Dan) of Nashville; his grandchild Pops; and his friend Knoxville. He was also cherished by his two grandsons about sports, taking his youngest.
