He was predeceased by: his wife Judi Garner; his parents, Alice Garner and George Garner; his brother Wayne Garner; and his sister-in-law Linda Garner.
He is survived by: his son David Garner; his daughter-in-law Missy Garner; his granddaughters, Alice Garner and Phelan Goble; his close friend Linda Rogers; his siblings-in-law, Kaye Tomlin (Richard), Sherri Colucci and Donald Cochran; and his cousin Peggy Payne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meridian Baptist Church in memory of John.
