He was predeceased by: his father Wallace Bauer; and his stepfather Lane Chandler. He is survived by: his mother Amelia Bauer Chandler; his brother Charles Bauer (Elva); his stepsiblings, Lane Chandler, Jr. and Angie Albernathy; his aunt Irene Allen; his cousins, Heather Allen and Melinda Pierce; and his sibling's children, Heather Smith (Josh), Cody Bauer (Jessica), Cannon Bauer and Amelia Kay Bauer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Tn State Veterans Cemetery (593 Wildersville Rd, Wildersville, TN 38388).
