It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Nowell Crockett (Jackson, Tennessee), who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Steve Nowell; her husbands, John Nowell and Bud Crockett; her parents, Les Atkinson and Mae Atkinson; and her sister Imogene Jones.
She is survived by: her son Tim Nowell (Teresia); her grandchildren, Chase Nowell (Heather), Spencer Nowell, Mark Mizell (Jennifer) and Amber Bird (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Bryce Worley, Micah Mizell, Lillian Mizell and Emma Nowell.
