She was predeceased by: her father Edward Ray Woods; and her brother John E. Woods. She is survived by: her husband Edward R. Scott; her mother Gayle Woods; her son Joseph Carl Wood (Kristi); her brother Dan Woods (Tina); and her granddaughters, Hannah Grace Wood and Emily Wood.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Reed's Chapel (302 W Church St, Lexington, TN 38351). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has request for memorial to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
