She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan N. Tims and Lucy Jane McCarver Tims; her spouse Odell Hurt, Sr.; and her brother Frank Tims. She is survived by: her children, Donna Goodwin (Eddie), Lisa Grace (Bo), Martha Lancaster (Dwayne) and Franklin Hurt, Jr. (Lisa). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
