She was predeceased by: her husband Danny Lester; and her parents, Joe Mays and Lena Odell Mays. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Lester (Tori) of Jackson, TN and Jeremy Lester (Julia) of Jackson, TN; her grandchildren, Reed Lester, James Lester, Jonah Lester, Gavin Lester and Ava Grace Lester; and her siblings, Edward Mays (Linda), Carolyn Alexander and Linda Knipper (Ken). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
