It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Marie (Cato) Dukes of Jackson, Tennessee, born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Otto Cato and Willie Selene Campbell Cato; her husband Charles Dukes; and her siblings, Joe Cato, W. C. Cato, Carolyn Cato Chaney and Shirley Cato Revelle.

She is survived by : her children, Pam Rudder of Jackson, John Dukes (Lisa) of Jackson and Mary Murdaugh (Guy) of Savannah; her grandchildren, Josh Rudder (Tracey) of Barre, VT and Chris Rudder (Bri) of Jackson; and her children, Kara Mobley (Killian) of Jackson, Mark Dukes of Jackson, Rebekah Bradford (Corey) of Jackson and Zachary Murdaugh (Kristen) of Portland, TN. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons (2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel of Highland Memorial Gardens (3360 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305).
