She was predeceased by: her husband George "Sonny" Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Ron Mitchell of Pensacola, FL and Lisa McGahuey of Jackson, TN; her son-in-law Brad McGahuey; her grandsons, Bryan Norcross, Joshua Mitchell and Jacob Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Gage and Enola Norcross. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
