With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Dixon McCormick (Jackson, Tennessee), born in Brownsville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 76. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nancy Dixon leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm D. Dixon and Frances C. Dixon; her husband James "Jim" H. McCormick; and her sister Martha Dixon Bland. She is survived by: her brother Malcolm Durwood Dixon; and her siblings-in-law, Dan Bland, John McCormick, William N. McCormick and Claudia McCormick Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
