With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy Walker of Jackson, Tennessee. Nancy, born on August 26, 1939, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Nancy for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Nancy’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her husband Laurence Walker; her parents, Edward Applewhite and Mary Applewhite; and her daughter Cindy Roberts. She is survived by: her daughter Edie White; her sister Sherry Applewhite; and her grandchildren, Faith Curtis, Wesley Roberts, Shane White and Nathan White. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (3360 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305).
