He was predeceased by: his parents, William Long and Onorine Long; his sister Nita Yarbrough; his brother-in-law Cliff Yarbrough; and his parents-in-law, Helen and Stan White.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Long; his sons, Chad Long (Lynne) and Jebb Long (Laura); his grandchildren, Luke Daniel and Kinley Grace; and his brother Bill Long.
