He is survived by: his sons, Mark Thompson (Ronda) and Mike Thompson; his sister Margaret Taylor (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Mat Thompson (Sara), Katie Yarbro (Justin) and Brittni Wells (James); and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Thompson, Ava Thompson, Avery Thompson, Aven Thompson, Salem Thompson, Oliver Yarbro, Sidney Yarbro, Remi Wells and Raelee Wells.
