He is survived by: his wife Lisa Buchanan; his children, Katie Hawks (William), Edie Buchanan and Ranger J. M. Buchanan; and his siblings, Jay Mathis (Ray), Gari Reed (Bill), Robin Vollmer (John), John Buchanan (Jenny), Kim Millitello (Frank), Raven Buchanan (Pama), Lance Buchanan, Craig Buchanan and Raymie Isringhausen (Dwynn).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mary's School, 1665 US-45 By-Pass, Jackson, TN 38305, or online at http://www.stmarys.tn.org for a tuition scholarship for students in need.
