He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Russell and Pearl Dornon Russell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Blankenship Russell; his children, Rodney Russell, Jr. (Anyce), Sherri McKee (Shane), Kim Joyce (Sean), Edwin Blankenship and Reed Blankenship (Cindy); his brother Terry Russell (Nancy); and his nephew Shawn Jones (Karen). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
