He is survived by: his wife Pat Johnson Wells; his children, Angie Wells Powers and Mark Wells (Gary Mathis); the mother of his children Barbara Elder Downen; his stepchildren, Rob Johnson (Linda) and Del Johnson (LeeAnn); his granddaughters, Carsyn Powers, Addie Powers and Kenzie Johnson; his nieces, Sheila Freemont and Carol Ann Alphin; and his caregiver Becky Stevenson.
