He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Walters and Viola Walters; his wife Patsy Louise Walters; and his siblings, Ray Walters, Cordema Finch, Polly Clark and Shirley Walters.
He is survived by: his sons, Roy E. Walters and Jimmy Lee Walters; his stepdaughter Patricia Darlene Walters; and his brothers, Bobby Walters and Billy Walters. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
