He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Alexander and Anne Alexander; his sister Deborah Alexander; his grandparents, Beulah Alexander, John Garrett and Leora Yarbro; and his grandson Grant Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Moore Alexander; his sons, Joshua "Josh" Kent Alexander (Stephanie Hamilton Alexander) of Franklin, TN and Zachary "Zach" Adam Alexander (Sandy Hruby Alexander) of Jackson, TN; his grandchildren, Lillie Claire, Will Alexander, Grayson and Lola Alexander; and his siblings, Steve Alexander (Shelby) of Franklin, Pam Bolding (Riley) of Gadsden and Joanne Rice of North Carolina.
