With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Scott of Jackson, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steve Scott to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Scott and Ann Scott. He is survived by: his wife Diane Scott; his children, John Scott (DeeAnn), David Scott (Stacey) and Beth Scott Nuthak (Chris); his grandchildren, Meaghan Scott, Caleb Nuthak, Corban Scott, Ian Scott, Jonah Nuthak, Josh Dickerson, Jacob Scott, Andrew Nuthak, Ethan Scott, Liam Scott, Joshua Scott and Nathan Nuthak; and his sister Velda Harvill. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Campbell Street Church of Christ (1490 Campbell St, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or online http://www.stjude.org, or to the Nicaragua Christian School at http://www.nicaraguachristian.org in Steve's memory.
