He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Slaughter of Washington and Jane Sanders Slaughter; his brother-in-law Ronnie Jordan (MaryJo Jordan); and his father-in-law Jerry Dwain Jordan. He is survived by: his daughters, Jenna Slaughter Pierce (Brent) and Jordan Slaughter Howell (Dave); his brothers, Mike Slaughter (Jean) and Myran Slaughter (Lindy); his brother-in-law Thomas Jordan; his mother-in-law Nancy Carolyn Jordan; and his siblings' children, Andrea Crick Huckaba, Nikki Allmon, Beth Bland, Jami Pruitt, Rachel Thearp Vincent and Wesley Jordan.
