She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Mullins and Lennie Via Mullins; her spouse Bennie L. Whitman; her siblings, James Mullins, Leslie Mullins and Hazel Webb; and her granddaughter Susan Breeden LaGesse.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Whitman Breeden of Bolivar, TN, Brenda Whitman Nanney of Jackson, TN, Terri Ann Whitman of Jackson, TN and Benny Ray Whitman of Amsterdam. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
