She was predeceased by: her husband James Comer Arnold; her parents, Elmer Haggard and Effie Mae Haggard; and her sons, Daniel Carl Smith and James Thomas Arnold.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Marie Jones; and her grandchildren, Michael Arnold, Keith Arnold, Sylvia Howard (Jack), Melinda Barajas (Pedro) and Stacie Johnson (Dan). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
