With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Howard Hale of Jackson, Tennessee, born in McKenzie, Tennessee, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Hale and Lexi Mae Coleman Hale; his wife Jo Ann Newman Hale; and his siblings, Lula (Norman Hughes), Alice (Cecil Barker), Minnie Sullivan, Glennie Hale, Jesse Hale and Mary Hale.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Hale (Patti), Cindy Farris and Doug Hale (Melinda); his brother Marvin Henry Hale (Margit); Brian Hale (Merideth), Joey Hale (Katie), Gina McDill (Garret), Alan Hale (Elisabeth), Wesley Hale (Danielle), Krista Hale, Kevin Hale (Abby), Josh Farris, Megan Ethredge (Michael) and Molly Hale.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the Jackson-Madison County Camp of Gideon's International, 30 Sutton Place, Jackson, TN 38305.
