With sadness, we share the passing of William Granville Petty of Jackson, Tennessee. William, born on September 23, 1934, passed away on August 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Alley "G. A." and Eula Beatrice Krannichfeldt Petty; and his siblings, Mary Ann House, Betty Jean Winebrenner and Carl Clinton Petty.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Smith Petty; his daughters, Elizabeth Sue Petty Farr (John) and Melinda Rene Petty McCollum; his grandchildren, William Payton McCollum (Kimery), Morgan Rene McCollum, Wendy Rene Farrish (Keith) and Rachel Elaine Griffiths (Morgan); and his great grandchildren, Colton Michael Hasychak, Poppy Ruth, Wren Elizabeth McCollum, Ava Marie and Rylan Patrick Griffiths.
