He was predeceased by : his parents, William Roy Horne and Mary Barr Horne; his wife Sara Horne; and his siblings, Walton Horne, Lueondes Payne and Jo Ann Neisler.

He is survived by : his children, William Hickman, Tamara Smith, Stacey Stewart and Tonya McDaniel; and his siblings, Adron Horne, Juanita Crosnoe and Beverly Crosnoe. He is also survived by three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
