He is survived by: his wife Donna Gower Ladd; his daughters, Ann Ladd Keyl (Scott) of Jackson, TN, Leigh Ladd of Jackson, TN and Tricia Ladd Rushing (Tony) of Christiansburg, VA.; his sister Vickie Ladd Ward (John); and his grandsons, William Keyl, Jacob Keyl, Samuel Keyl and Jason Thomas Stanford.

Furthermore, he was an active participant in various endeavors organized by the Tennessee Sports Foundation—a testament to his community spirit.
