Curtis Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Smith (Jamestown, Tennessee), who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bro Caldwell Smith and Edith Smith (Hull); his siblings, Bro David Smith and Brenda Allred; his parents-in-law, Milford and Ina Buck (Garrett); and his grandparents, George, Mary Bell Smith (Bow), Cleveland and Minnie Hull (Tompkins).

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith; his children, Chris Smith (Loretta) and Cindy Smith; his grandchildren, CJ Smith (Alyssa) and Cayla Garrett (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Walter Smith, Carson Garrett and Ida Jo Smith; his sister Vera Goad (Brady); his sister-in-law Judy Smith; his brother Daniel Smith (Lavonna); his brother-in-law Bro Fred Allred; his siblings, Bro Vernon Smith (Chandra) and Sharon Ellis (Paul); and his friend Proceeded. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Brad Goad, Donnie Smith, Darwin Smith, Jordan Smith, Freddy Allred, IV, Jon Allred, Andrew Allred, & Ben Ellis, In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Fentress Hope Foundation.
