With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Sweet of Jamestown, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2026 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Richard Sweet and Martha Jane Sweet (Hancock); his father-in-law Buddie Conatser; and his great-nephew Oakley Richard Pugh. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sweet (Conatser); his brother Jimmy Sweet (Angie); his mother-in-law Marteena Conatser; his sisters-in-law, Pam Delk (David) and Paula Stockton (Ronnie); his nieces and nephews, Tambra Sweet Hayes (Trevor), Destiny Sweet Pugh (Dakota), Travis Stockton, Kayla Kassow, Buddie Ray Stockton (Cali), Mindy Mechelle Stockton, Jimmy Young, Samantha Bucholz (Nicholai), Courtney Delk Loveday (Shawn) and Whitney Rae Delk; his aunts and uncles, E. J. and Linda Hancock; and his godchildren, Samuel and Sicilla Keeley A. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Hope Foundation, Best Friends Sanctuary or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
