She was predeceased by: her parents, Flossie Ellen and William Porter Linder; her husband Larry "Dean" Matthews; her siblings, J. Q. Linder, William Harold Linder, Hollis Russell Linder, James Kernal Linder, Clyde Ray Linder, Jerry Linder and Juanita Linder-Garrett; and her niece Connie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Williams (Mark) and Kevin Matthews (Ashley); her granddaughter Emily Williams; her stepgranddaughter Laila Merz; her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Howard, Betty Jo Linder, Sue Carol Linder, Janice Carter and Nancy Ann Stewart (Mickey); and her siblings' children, Joe Woody (Cindy), April Williams (Doug), Sharon Wheeley (Dan) and Wallace Linder (Sherry).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes, Inc. (414 N Main St, Jamestown, TN 38556). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
