She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Melinda Atkinson StephensTerribly; her grandchildren, Millie Rae Beaty (Wesley), Marissa Cox (Gage), Alyssa Stephens (Kyle Kappel), Brianna De La Torre (Grant) and Briley Stephens (Jaycee); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Ella, Liam Beaty, Chatman Cox, Aubri, Adeline, Allie and Ari De La Torre; her siblings, Nolan LaRue (Nancy) and Judy Poore Teresa Crisp (Jerry); her parents, Otis Norman LaRue and Clella Imagene Atkinson LaRue; her grandparents, Norman C. LaRue, Amanda C. Stowers LaRue, Clarence Atkinson and Pearl Beaty Atkinson; her brothers, Charles "Herby" LaRue and N. C. LaRue; and her brother-in-law Hollis Poore.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mundy Funeral Home (229 S Main St, Jamestown, TN 38556). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Spring Chapel Cemetery.
