He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Mae Hicks; his grandparents, Dee and Delta Hicks; his siblings, Betty Brown Janice Hicks and Jimmy "Buff" Hicks; and his father Walter Hoover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Hicks (Sherry Weaver) and Michelle Hicks; his grandchildren, Andrew, Emma, Isaiah and Gracie Hicks; and his sisters, Bonnie Potter Brothers and Bennie Hicks (Brenda Barney Hicks). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jennings Funeral Homes, Inc. (414 N Main St, Jamestown, TN 38556). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
