It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Carr of Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Brenda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Brenda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Goforth Brown and William "Dickey" D. Brown; and her husband Robert W. Carr. She is survived by: her children, Jody Lee Carr, Robert "Bobbe" W. Carr, III, Angela Carr Stone and Crystal Smith; and her siblings, Joe David Brown, Richard Charles Brown and Anita Jane Mosley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
