He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Chloe Young; his wife Laferna Young; his siblings, Wynona West, J. W. Young and Norman Young; and his siblings-in-law, Al West, Bob Hoff and Maudie Young.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Wesson (Mark) and Sheila Watson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Chris Wesson (Rachel), Greg Wesson (Caroline), Matt Wesson and Rachel Blackgrove (Drayton); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Chloe, Ellie, Silas, Nathan, Louis, Katherine, Joseph, Abby, Cora, Samuel and John-Max Wesson; and his sister Juanita Hoff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
